Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson Returns To WWE

YES! Ladies & gentlemen, the moment we've all been waiting for HAS arrived...
THE ROCK HAS RETURNED!

If you were alive during the late 90's - early 2000's & did NOT know who The Rock was, you were seriously living under one! One of the country's most popular celebrities at the time and definitely wrestling's most craved & missed star, The Rock is here to stay! Taking a break from wrestling to explore other options, The Rock made acting his second home. Appearing in The Mummy Returns as the Scorpion King to soon land his own film, The Scorpion King. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has starred in films such as Gridiron Gang, The Game Plan, and Get Smart.

Fans of the WWE have been waiting for the announcement of who the host of Wrestlemania XXVII would be. Guesses were made, an excerpt showing a woman coming out of a limo threw us off, but long behold when the lights cut off, The Rock came to light the arena in Anaheim, CA back up!

Thanking the fans & reassuring all that he has returned & will never leave. Still funny & entertaining as ever, The Rock announced that he is back, will be at Wrestlemania XXVII and wants a match against John Cena. Watch below...

Going into further detail of tonight's announcement...

On why he returned now: "Because I felt the time was right to so something special. Not only can I feed my own need and desire to perform. More importantly than that, do something special for you WWE fans. "

On what he missed about WWE: "The thing I've missed most is the indescribible moment that was tonight. The culmination of the fans, their energy, my energy, my desire to entertain them and their endless desire to be entertained. "

On his goals for WrestleMania 27: "My goal is to create an incredible show. The guys have prepared for this night all year and they are going to put on incredible wrestling matches and I am there to not only support their matches but work with the great WWE production team and put on an electrifying show. That means I will be backstage and in the ring creating unforgettable and iconic WrestleMania moments. "

On his favorite WrestleMania memories: "My favorite WrestleMania matches of all time were Icon vs. Icon in Toronto vs. Hulk Hogan and vs. Steve Austin in the Houston Astrodome. Both of those matches will go down as two of most memorable. I had the honor of working with two titans of WWE. "

On John Cena: "John Cena said a variety of things that came across my desk which at first I thought was interesting and then I felt was laughable because the comments really didn't make any sense to me. To be clear, not that they ever make me mad. I just thought the comments were an interesting choice of things to say. "

On Social Media: " The platforms of social media are fantastic. I started facebook seven months ago and I started twitter tonight. The facebook platform is one I'm very proud of because it has been inspiring, funny, entertaining and motivating. What I'm most proud of is that anyone can come to the page and not only read my posts but read posts from people all over the world and that's a really cool thing."

Nicki Minaj - Moment 4 Life Video + Review

Nicki Minaj - New Music - More Music Videos

I've been searching UP & DOWN for this video & FINALLY I found it! ((:
Pleased to give you the video of Moment 4 Life-Nicki Minaj Feat. Drake.

Minaj decides to go with a Cinderella theme in this video, in which she plays the princess as well as her fairy God-mother, Martha. & yes, of course "Martha" is one of Nicki's alter egos.

Evelyn Says: Nicki's acting is umm??? LOL, not Oscar worthy let's say! The conversation between her and Martha is too funny! "It's Martha! Brrrrrrrrrrrrr!" I could NOT stop laughing at that part! But, I love how Martha gave Nicki those Louboutins!!! (: Can I get a fairy God-mother like that?

Love, love, LOVE Nicki's jewel headpiece in the beginning! So bitchie! (: Wasn't feeling Drake's attire too much; felt too "Kanye" for me. BUT, is he growing out is hair? If so, I kinda like it! Only certain men can rock baby fro's...so get it Drake(if that's you)!

The castle setting is BOMB! Firework scene was hella fake &WHAT? Did I see a kiss at midnight? (;

X-Men: First Class - Official Trailer

Wale - The Break Up Song Video + Review

Hip-Hop artist, Wale, has released the video to his single, The Break Up Song, off of his latest mixtape, More About Nothing.

The actress(name unknown), only spoke for a minute or two, and yet I felt she did a horrible job. Sometimes good looks isn't everything! Talent was definitely needed! (;

Overall, I loved the entire video! I especially love the storytelling that went along with the video. Amazing voice for narrative! I also loved the "expectation/reality" shots which brought emphasis to the heartache. & of course, I loved the fashion that went into this...Wale has definitely become a fashion icon to young Hip-Hop lovers and I must say, I too have become a fan!

The story is told through a young male, who is in college(Wale), and falls in love with a beautiful young woman. Displaying their issues through the "expectation/reality" shots I mentioned before. There is a break in the video that shows Wale telling his friends of his heartache, soon to be made fun of by them. Wale's love interest breaks up with him through a text and moves on very quickly.

Loved the video, love Wale, love Hip-Hop! One of my fave's!

Color The World.

Today my Philosophy teacher asked my class to, if willing, participate in a lecture called Curse of Reading. Although the lecture was very interesting, and the lecturer, Annette Diambrisio (Please excuse the spelling, I'm going off of memory), was very lively, my concentration was focused elsewhere...

Diambrisio spoke of the late Frederick Douglass and how he learned how to read and write. For those who are unfamiliar with Douglass' story, he learned to read and write from his master. Diambrisio spoke of the limits a Colored had back then, when it came to education. She also spoke on why White's didn't want to teach African-Americans how to read and write; equality. The White's did not want Black's to be educated and more importantly, equal.

My mind couldn't help but wonder on that note. I began to think how ugly the world must have been, how boring, how bland. A student interrupted my thoughts and as soon as I turned to place a face to voice, a young White male appeared as he wrapped his arms around a young Black woman. He, dressed in a button up and corduroy pants and she in a colorful Kanga(African Sarong) and head wrap with very little makeup. I thought to myself, how beautiful!

As the couple left, holding hands and laughing, I continued to smile at the beauty of their relationship. There were so many differences between the two, seen with the naked eye. Of course, their skin color. Also, their style of dress which was so unlike and defined, yet their love overthrown all differences. It was simply beautiful!

In honor of Black History Month and great abolitionists, like Frederick Douglass, who died fighting I'd like to humbly and respectfully thank those who have created freedom for all. Freedom to learn, freedom to write, and freedom to love! I could not imagine living in a world painted Black and White, right and wrong, yes and no. I am so blessed to wake up to colorful days! (:

If only Mr. Douglass could see what I see!

T is for Togipa!

This past week, God allowed my family and I to come together and celebrate the life of my late uncle, Togipa Sagapolutele Moli Molio'o; my Dad's older brother. Uncle "Tony" was the first of my Dad's siblings to pass on and will be very missed. God made no mistakes when he took my Uncle and through every hardship comes a lesson. This weekend I learned to keep my faith in God strong, love my family no matter what, and be proud of where I come from(Samoa). God bless you Uncle Tony! See you later...

Auntie Taua, Amosa, and Beka: I've watched all three of you very carefully this past week and I can't help but admire you all! The way all of you handled your loss with grace and strength made me so happy to know that Uncle Tony was survived by you three! The thought of your loss makes me hurt. I just want to say with all the love and respect I have, I am truly sorry! I'm steady praying for the Lord to guide you during this struggling time! May you find peace at mind and strength very soon. I love you all and God bless!

To all of my first cousins: THANK YOU!; For the laughs, smiles, and memories! ((: It truly was an amazing weekend that I will never forget! We HAVE to do it again! I love each and every one of you with all my heart! God bless and again, thank you!

The word funeral alone comes off as very blue however, my family finds a way to bring joy to everything and that is exactly why I am so proud to be a member. It's been a long time since many of us seen one another and although there were some who were missing(out of my first cousins) the strength and beauty of our family definitely showed this weekend! One of the things that impressed me the most was the fact that our family hasn't gotten together in thirteen years and our bond has not yet faded or become lost. Partying in the hotel with my brothers and sisters Saturday evening(bringing in Sunday morning), made me realize how much family is everything! &my family is all I'll ever need! Shout out to Venomous and Dyna-Mack for the entertainment! A big thank you to my Mama for playing photographer; can't wait to see all of the pictures! & of course, a BIG thank you to our friends Remy, Malibu, X-Rated, Bud, Hef, Corona & Moscato for keeping us company! (; This night will forever be apart of me!

Sunday evening, family and friends gathered together to reminisce on the times spent with my Uncle Togipa. Although most of the service was held in Samoan and I couldn't understand, I could tell through the laughs that he was admired greatly and will truly be missed. I remember one of my Dad's sisters, Auntie Pela, mentioned her late husband, Uncle Peni and instantly I began to cry! I miss you Uncle Peni and I think about you constantly! Another testimony that touched me incredibly was my Auntie Timena's(my Dad's first cousin). She mentioned how my ancestors stressed the importance of raising a family, especially ours, in Christ; As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. -Joshua 24:15 is the scripture that my ancestors lived by. Our(my generation) lives were predestined to live within the Lord, our Auntie Timena explained, so we should live as such. As the night lingered on, family and friends enjoyed food prepared by our immediate family and a second night of fun carried on at the hotel! I was able to spend some quality time with my cousin(Big Sister/Ace), Miracle! Had an amazing talk with her and can't wait to reunite with her soon! (Vegas babyyy!)

Monday, was the day of the burial and I must say it was very bittersweet. I felt for my cousins Amosa and Beka and continued to cry for them. I also felt for my Dad and his brothers and sisters. I know it must have been very hard for them to bury their own brother that day and I would hate to witness that pain, ever! My brother, as well as ALL of my male first cousins that attended, carried my Uncle to his grave sight and it was the most beautiful thing I ever seen. The young men of our family coming together to honor our Uncle and put him to rest, I couldn't help but cry. Rest in Peace again Uncle Tony! You are so loved and missed! Following the burial my family had to partake in cultural duties and many mistakes were made on our(my generation's) part for we were not raised fully in our custom. The elders of my family gathered us young ones in a room, after all of the festivities in honor of Uncle, to explain to us that our culture is a very unique, strong, and beautiful one. We, as descent of unique, strong, beautiful people, must take pride in that and learn our culture fully. & for a deeper understanding and meaning, we must do so in the Lord. The gathering that night was truly beautiful and in all honesty, life changing. I thank and praise God for that moment because it gave me a deeper appreciation to all that I am made of...

In closing, there is beauty in everything, even death. My Uncle Tony's life was spared but his body was put to rest peacefully and beautifully. In celebration of our late uncle, Togipa, my cousins/siblings and I were able to reunite and recreate a bond long awaited and well deserved. And in the midst of all my smiles, tears, and pain came fulfillment. I am so proud to say that I am a young Samoan woman! I take that pride and walk in the Lord to better my family and bring pride to my family. Coming into my "adulthood", I struggled with a huge void and could not, for the life of me, figure out what it was. PRIDE, I am proud and forever will be to carry on the legacy of MOLI blood. Samoan. Woman. Christian. MOLI. blood! Become yourself, because I AM ME!

Family, is all I'll ever have or need in this lifetime & to all of you...Thank You!

Rest in Peace, Love, and Happiness Uncle Tony!
I love you!
